Harry Jack

Private Harry Jack was killed in action on 19 October 1917.

He served in the 1/6th (Morayshire) Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders. T.F. and his Regimental Number was 240307. Formerly 999 5th Bn Seaforth Highlanders. He had enlisted at Rogart.

Robert Henry (Harry) Jack was born in Golspie, and his parents were James Jack and Hughina Munro of Sciberscross, Rogart. He was a brother of Willie Jack of Dalmore.

Harry Jack was buried in the Wancourt British Cemetery, France and is commemorated on the Rogart War Memorial.
